Coventry City have eyed a move for Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles.
Sheffield Wednesday are set to witness plenty of changes in the summer transfer window once again, as they prepare for life in League One.
The Owls lost several star players last summer, because former owner Dejphon Chansiri failed to pay wages on time.
Chansiri subsequently plunged the South Yorkshire outfit into administration, and they were relegated following a defeat to Sheffield United in February amid points deductions.
David Storch still intends to complete his Wednesday takeover by 1 May, which will allow him to be active in the summer transfer window, ahead of next term's League One campaign.

Coventry City will have a very different summer transfer window to the Owls, as the Sky Blues are set to play in the Premier League next season.
Frank Lampard must build a squad that has a fighting chance of obtaining top-flight survival.
Meanwhile, as reported by TeamTalk, Coventry are keen on Wednesday goalkeeper Pierce Charles, who has proven himself as a capable operator between the sticks despite his club's struggles.
Football League World asked our Owls fan pundit, Patrick McKenna, if the 20-year-old would be good enough to start in the Premier League, or if it is a gamble for the Sky Blues.
Coventry will need to acquire a new goalkeeper this summer if they can't retain Carl Rushworth, who has excelled at the CBS Arena while on loan from Brighton.
McKenna said: "In regards to Pierce Charles, there is no doubt that he has fantastic potential, and I do believe he will play in the Premier League one day.
"But I don't think playing for Coventry in the Premier League next season is the answer. He is still young, especially for a keeper, so he has more years to progress before he is near the finished article.
"This progression has to be managed sensibly. He is too good for League One, but I honestly think the Championship would be a good level for him next season.
"I could see a Premier League club signing him, and loaning him back to the Championship for the season. But, if Coventry were to sign him, they would be looking to play him every week as their first choice, and for Coventry next season in the Premier League, it's going to be tough.
"The goalkeeper is going to be dealing with a lot of shots, and you don't want Pierce Charles' confidence to be broken by being put in a difficult situation.
"I think Coventry need an experienced keeper next season, and not someone like Pierce Charles. So, specifically playing for Coventry next season in the Premier League, it would be the wrong move, in my opinion."

Coventry have an equally challenging and exciting summer up ahead, as Lampard vies to build a squad that is capable of battling in the Premier League next term.
The goalkeeper position will be a particularly important vacancy to fill if Rushworth moves elsewhere, or stays at Brighton, rather than remaining at the CBS Arena.
According to GiveMeSport, Newcastle United have eyed Rushworth, denting the Sky Blues' chances of retaining the 24-year-old's services.
Meanwhile, as summarised by McKenna, Charles would not be an adequate replacement for Lampard's current goalkeeper, as he is not ready for the Premier League just yet.
The 20-year-old has still made just 33 senior appearances for Wednesday since making his debut during the 2023/24 season.
Thanks to the Owls' relegation, he is unlikely to stay in South Yorkshire, but a transfer to Coventry would not help his development at this stage in his career.
