FLW's Sheffield Wednesday fan pundit has given his reaction to reports that some players are unhappy about manager Danny Rohl's imminent return.

With just weeks to go until the start of the new Championship season, it is still unclear who will lead Sheffield Wednesday into the upcoming campaign as their turbulent summer continues.
After failing to pay the wages of players and staff on time in both May and June, Wednesday have been hit with a three-window ban on paying transfer fees, while they are currently under three separate transfer embargoes, and at least seven players are believed to have given notice of their intent to terminate their contracts.
In addition to the financial turmoil, the Owls have had to contend with uncertainty over the future of manager Danny Rohl throughout the summer, and the German has been linked with a host of clubs in recent months, including Southampton, Middlesbrough, Leicester City, RB Leipzig, Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen, but his high release clause has proven to be an issue for many of his suitors.
Despite not turning up for the start of pre-season and holding talks with the club over a severance package that would have seen his tenure at Hillsborough come to an end, it was revealed this week that Rohl is now planning to resume his role as Wednesday manager, with the prospect of an imminent takeover said to have been one of the factors behind his sudden change of heart.
However, there was another twist in the saga on Thursday, with The Star claiming that players and staff are unhappy about Rohl's imminent return as they feel that "too much has happened since the end of the season", and that has created fresh uncertainty over the club's managerial situation.
When asked for his thoughts on the latest developments involving Rohl, FLW's Sheffield Wednesday fan pundit Patrick McKenna encouraged the club to find a solution that would enable the 36-year-old to return to his role, claiming that it would benefit both the players and supporters.
"After my delight hearing that Danny Rohl was to return to Sheffield Wednesday, now we've had this news come out that the players aren't happy with him coming back," Patrick told FLW.
"It's certainly a big issue that needs to be addressed, but, ultimately, we don't know what exactly is driving that.
"I can't really step into the shoes of the players who are, for whatever reason, aggrieved that Danny Rohl is coming back.
"In my mind, I really would love Danny Rohl to come back and pick things up under a new owner and help drive this team on.
"However, at this stage, it may not be an irretrievable situation.
"This could be one of the biggest tests of Danny Rohl's managerial career.
"That's what my hope is, and I don't think that's an impossible situation.
"As a fan, I'd love him to come back and be in the dugout, but I can't speak for the players.
"My hope is that this issue can be resolved because, if it is, it will be to the benefit of everybody at the club, including the players and fans.
Given that many Wednesday players reported back for the start of pre-season training despite not being paid, they may feel a little betrayed that Rohl chose to stay away, and his well-documented attempts to find a new club over the summer do not suggest that he is particularly committed to the cause.
However, it could be argued that the Owls squad should not be able to decide who manages them, and with at least seven players believed to have handed in their notices, some may question whether they have the right to criticise Rohl for seeking an exit when they are essentially doing the same thing currently.
Even if Rohl does somehow win the players over, he could face an even bigger battle to earn back the trust of supporters, with many feeling that some of his comments in the German press in recent months, including stating that he is keen to manage in the Bundesliga "as soon as possible", have been disrespectful to the club.
