Six stabbed during Arsenal Premier League title celebrations in London | OneFootball

London police said on Monday that six people were stabbed on Sunday evening during Arsenal’s Premier League title celebrations, with one man in his twenties taken to hospital.

He was initially in a critical condition, and his condition is now stable.

The violence broke out in the early evening, after much of the crowd had gone home.

In total, there were 24 arrests for offences including assaults on police and sexual assaults.

Earlier on Sunday, Arsenal’s players and staff paraded through London on a bus in club colours. Commander Stuart Bell, who led the policing operation, thanked the vast majority of supporters for celebrating safely and responsibly.
