Sky Sport Italia reports that Croatian midfielder Luka Modric has set three conditions for staying at Milan beyond the summer, one of which is that Massimiliano Allegri continues as manager.
Modric’s Milan contract expires at the end of the season, and even if the Rossoneri have an option to extend until 2027, they’ll activate their clause only if the Croat is happy to stay for a second campaign.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Modric has outlined three conditions for remaining at San Siro: Champions League qualification, Massimiliano Allegri’s stay, and a competitive project.

Modric, a former Real Madrid star, joined Milan on a free transfer last summer and has been a regular starter under Allegri this season, beginning 30 Serie A matches out of 32.
Allegri has recently been linked with the Italy job and hasn’t yet confirmed that he’ll stay at Milan beyond the summer.

However, during a press conference on Saturday, the Italian tactician noted that he’s not been accustomed to frequent changes in his coaching career, suggesting that he might remain at the club for at least one more season.
