The corporate earthquake at Roma has reached its most drastic conclusion.
After thirteen days of tension, sparked by statements made before the match against Pisa, the relationship between Claudio Ranieri and the Giallorossi club is nearing its end.
According to Manà Manà Sport Roma, Friedkin’s management is ready to issue an official statement shortly announcing the director’s dismissal.
Sky Sport confirmed the news, stating that the Giallorossi will part ways with Ranieri in the coming hours.
The rift with Gian Piero Gasperini, fueled by a public back-and-forth that paralyzed the club’s operations, led to the decision. Despite his central role so far, Ranieri’s comments on the coaching position have created a climate of instability.
For Claudio Ranieri, however, a new chapter could immediately open.
His name has reportedly ended up at the top of the list of candidates for Giovanni Malagò, who is engaged in consultations on the future of the FIGC, who considers him one of the ideal candidates for the new Azzurri era starting next September.
