Matias Soulé’s future is a difficult conundrum to solve.
The Argentine winger has been targeted by numerous clubs: Borussia Dortmund, Stuttgart, Aston Villa, Sunderland, Fulham, and Al Ahli, but a satisfactory offer hasn’t arrived at Trigoria.
The 2003-born player is focused solely on Roma, despite Fiorentina recently conducting an exploratory survey.
The former Frosinone player could face numerous distractions, but for now his focus is solely on the Giallorossi.
As of July 23, Roma still hasn’t closed a single incoming deal: no signings and only a few failed negotiations. As Il Messaggero reports, the prospect of the 2003-born player staying is no longer a pipe dream.
Gasperini would like a winger with slightly different characteristics, a player more adept in one-on-one situations, but he still values his qualities.
The Grugliasco-born coach would like two more forwards who can play behind Malen and is waiting for updates.
Soulé is currently one of the few certainties in the attack; selling him would create another problem in the area where Gasperini expects a leap in quality. Furthermore, this is not a detail to be underestimated: the 2003-born player has no desire to leave the capital.
