According to Real Madrid Confidencial, the Los Blancos are preparing a major summer spending plan for the 2026 transfer window, with €60 million earmarked for two midfielders.
One of the signings is expected to be Nico Paz, while the second could be a high-profile player such as Enzo Fernandez or Ryan Gravenberch.
The Argentine midfielder Nico Paz could return to the Santiago Bernabeu for a relatively modest €10 million buyout clause.
The remaining €50 million would be allocated to landing a star midfielder, a position Real Madrid is eager to strengthen.
Among the targets are Enzo Fernandez, Alexis Mac Allister, and Ryan Gravenberch, all of whom fit the club’s desire for young, talented players with experience at the highest European level.
While signing Nico appears to be pretty much an easy task, landing the likes of Enzo will be far more complicated. The Argentine is a key figure at Stamford Bridge with a contract running until 2032.

Alexis Mac Allister faces a similar situation. The Liverpool midfielder is under contract until 2028 and is valued at €100 million, making a move to Spain difficult.
Gravenberch, with a valuation similar to Enzo, also presents a challenge, as Liverpool would be reluctant to part with one of their key stars.
Despite these hurdles, Real Madrid remain determined to improve their midfield.
The club sees these transfers as crucial to maintaining and elevating their squad, and they are prepared to take the necessary time to prepare offers and evaluate opportunities before the window opens.
Even with the complexities of these potential moves, Real Madrid’s plan is clear that Nico Paz will join next season, alongside another world-class midfielder.
The club is confident that these additions will strengthen the team and provide the depth required to compete at the highest level across La Liga and Europe.
