Southampton fans have outlined two key changes they want to be made at the club following the defeat at Blackburn Rovers
Southampton sit 20th in the Championship table after 12 matches, with two wins, six draws, and four defeats, summing up what has been a miserable start to life back in the second tier on the South Coast, and Saints fans have made their displeasure known on social media.
Following relegation from the Premier League last season, narrowly beating Derby County's lowest-ever point record with 12 points, Southampton dismissed former boss Ivan Juric and brought in former Reims and Lens manager Will Still.
Still is a well-known name in the footballing stratosphere these days, but not because of the success that he has amassed in his relatively short managerial career, still only 33, but for a completely different reason.
Having taken charge at Reims, the Englishman did not possess the necessary coaching badges to manage in the French top flight, and as a result, the club were fined £22k per match, becoming something of a meme.
He led Reims to a 17-match unbeaten run and cited the Football Manager game as a reason behind his love for coaching, further endearing himself to football fans across the world.
The Englishman took charge on the South Coast this summer, but thus far, things have not gone the way he, or the club, would have hoped, and following their 2-1 away defeat at Blackburn Rovers, which they led at one stage, fans have begun to turn on him and the ownership.
Saints fans have replied to this tweet posted by the club, which makes for not-so-pretty viewing if you are a fan of the club.

The Saints spent in excess of £50 million this summer, reshaping the squad following their disappointing relegation, whilst also raking in over £100 million, courtesy of the sales of Mateus Fernandes, Tyler Dibling and Kamaldeen Sulemana, to name a few.
Despite this, the results this season have been far from fan expectations. Having won just twice all last season, the Saints have now won just four of their last 50 league matches, in what has been a pitiful time to support the club.
Supporters have lost any patience they had left, and following defeat to Blackburn are now calling for change at the club before it has the chance to get worse.
With just two league wins in 12 games, it is no wonder fans are beginning to turn on Still and want to see the back of him before it gets any worse for the club under his watch.
Sport Republic, the majority owner at Southampton, took over in January 2022 and has investments in both Turkish side Goztepe and French side Valenciennes FC.
Under their ownership, Southampton have suffered two relegations and one promotion, in what has been a chaotic time on the South Coast, and fans have seemingly had enough of their involvement with the club and want them out as soon as possible.
The dreaded image of the corner flag for any team usually indicates a club statement posted by the club relieving the manager of their duties, with this Southampton fan clearly insinuating that an announcement to be made about the sacking of Still.
This tweet almost perfectly encapsulates the mood around Southampton right now, with the players, owner and management all coming under flack for the position that they currently find themselves in, in what is a damning predicament.

Nobody could have predicted where Southampton would find themselves at this stage this season.
With Still coming in, players coming in and going, a fresh start seemed on the horizon for the Saints, who had been anticipating a positive campaign following their relegation, just as they did under Russell Martin two years prior.
However, things have just not clicked yet, and Southampton fans aren't prepared to wait any longer to see if things fall into place or not, and want change at the club immediately.
The club is in its most perilous position since the 2010/2011 season, whilst they were still in League One, having spent 12 of the last 14 campaigns in the Premier League, with one of those seasons being their promotion year in 2023/24.
Saints fans, therefore, will not be used to this sort of struggle and rightly feel uncomfortable about the situation their club finds itself in.
Whether Still will be given longer to prove himself at St Mary's remains to be seen, but as long as results remain negative, discourse will continue to come the way of him and the owners, of which only drastic change can be done to stop that, either with a sacking or a sale.
