Spalletti: I have complete faith in my players | OneFootball

The Juventus Men's First Team faces Parma on Serie A 2025/26 Matchday 23, with the game taking place at the Stadio Ennio Tardini at 20:45 CET on Sunday, February 1.

Coach Luciano Spalletti previewed the match against the Crociati at the pre-match press conference.

THE SQUAD'S CONDITION

"There will be a lot of games in the coming weeks, so we need to find alternative solutions. The number of matches is increasing, and as far as I'm concerned, we need to increase the amount of rest. It seems to me that the players are responding well to these changes. When you play so much, you have to find a balance between playing a lot, resting a lot and training a lot. You have to keep your mind active; there's no room to switch off completely because you have to start again straight away. I have complete faith in my players; they are top-class professionals.

I have to see every situation we experience as a stepping stone to the next one. It has to be an evolution, and I expect that even from those who have played less. There are qualities that I am convinced can come out quickly. To learn new things, you need real competition during training. There will be space, and I am convinced that there will be good news. We have things to say that we haven't shown because of the choices I have made."

THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE OPPONENT

"In our last match, against Monaco, we put in a normal performance. But now I expect an immediate reaction, because this phase of normality no longer exists even within matches; there are constant reversals that we need to be able to adapt to. I want to see the team like that again, more suited to these constant reversals and not in their comfort zone. Galatasaray? The atmosphere in Istanbul will be very heated, and there is a risk of losing sight of what is most important. We will face them convinced that we have a chance to play our cards right. They are an opponent with great quality and players that I know well."
