SPL Best Saudi Player Nominees - 2025-26 | OneFootball

This award is presented to the most outstanding Saudi or Saudi-Arabia-born player in the 2025-26 Roshn Saudi League.

The eligibility criteria is as follows: the player must have participated in at least 40 percent of their team's total matches in the season, regardless of playing position or age.

Salem Al Dawsari - Al Hilal

The legendary Al Hilal captain, the reigning SPL Saudi Player of the Season, boasts the best goal-contribution rate among local players with multiple goal contributions this season, when measured against the number of matches played. Al Dawsari has contributed to 16 goals, divided neatly by 8 goals and 8 assists.

Musab Al Juwayr - Al Qadsiah

The reigning Young Player of the Season plays a pivotal role in Al Qadsiah’s midfield, with Al Juwayr among the top four passers in the league. Like Al Dawsari, the Saudi Arabia international has 16 goal contributions thus far this term: five goals, 11 assists.

Khalid Al Ghannam - Al Ettifaq

The Al Ettifaq winger is the only Saudi player to have broken the 10-goal barrier this season having found the net 13 times. He also has the highest number of goal contributions (18) and the best goal-per-game ratio (42%) among Saudi players.

The RSL stalwart is among five Saudi players who have contributed 10+ goal contributions this season (five goals, five assists). Indeed, that constitutes the best output for a Saudi not representing a team competing for the RSL title or AFC Champions League qualification.

With Bahebri playing, Al Kholood's goal-per-game average rises from 0.7 to 1.3.
