Tottenham extended their unbeaten run on the road in the Premier League with a convincing 3-0 win over Everton, handing the Toffees their first defeat at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Spurs captain Micky van de Ven set the tone early, rising highest from a corner in the 19th minute to power a header past Jordan Pickford.

David Moyes's side thought they had equalised shortly after, as Jake O'Brien glanced in a header, but VAR ruled it out for offside involving Iliman Ndiaye and Jack Grealish.

Van de Ven doubled Spurs’ lead just before half-time, again capitalising on a set-piece. Pedro Porro’s corner found him unmarked, and the Dutch defender nodded home to leave Everton chasing shadows.

The second half saw Everton create a handful of chances, including a spectacular overhead attempt from Beto, but goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario kept Spurs in control with some sharp saves.

The visitors finally sealed the result in stoppage time when Pape Matar Sarr, assisted by Richarlison, converted a header to make it 3-0.

The win moves Spurs up to third in the Premier League, five points behind leaders and north London rivals Arsenal, while Everton remain 14th.
