Tottenham Hotspur have announced the signing of defender Caitlin Dijkstra on a 'long-term contract'.
The Dutch international joined Wolfsburg in the summer of 2023 and spent her first season at the club back on loan at FC Twente. After making her debut for Wolfsburg the following season, Dijkstra went on to feature 46 times in all competitions, scoring twice and two assists.
Dijkstra has now made the move to Spurs following the expiry of her contract at the German side.
"It feels amazing to join Spurs, I have almost no words for it," the 27-year-old said about the move.
"I'm a player who wants to achieve all the big things. I'm ready for this, and I'm really happy for the opportunity I have with this Club."
Dijkstra joins Tottenham just a few days after the club announced the impressive signing of Shekiera Martinez from West Ham.
