St Mirren host Dundee Utd in the Scottish Premiership's relegation group on Sunday in Paisley, with the visitors leading the section and the hosts chasing a late-season rise.
Dundee Utd top the mini-league on 44 points after 37 games, while St Mirren are fifth on 33. Across recent meetings, the visitors hold the edge with 11 wins to the hosts' eight, alongside six draws.
St Mirren halted a four-match league losing run with a 2-0 victory at Aberdeen last time out. United followed back-to-back defeats with a 0-0 draw against Livingston after two straight wins, so momentum has been mixed.
St Mirren have scored 29 league goals and produced 11 headed goals this season, so crosses could be a route again. The Arabs have netted 48 but conceded 59, with attacking threats including Amar Fatah and Zachary Sapsford on eight league goals each. Supply lines could come from Will Ferry and Luca Stephenson, who have six and five assists respectively, while Declan John and Mikael Mandron have five each for the hosts.
A home win would move St Mirren to 36 points and could improve their position in the relegation section. Victory for United would take them to 47 points and reinforce their grip on first place in the group.
