Stade Rennais warns families over fraudulent academy trials and paid camps | OneFootball

Stade Rennais has warned families about identity fraud offering paid places on purported academy trials and camps, and has begun legal steps to stop it, the club said in a statement on Tuesday.

The club has been alerted in recent weeks to multiple scams and impersonation linked to supposed recruitment events for its Academy.

Measures have been initiated to bring these practices to an end as quickly as possible.

Families and young players are urged to treat social media approaches and misinformation with extreme caution, and to verify any approach by emailing contact@staderennais.fr.

Stade Rennais also stressed that no youngster or family is ever asked to pay to attend a recruitment session, a trial or a camp.
