Inter Milan manager Cristian Chivu has reportedly outperformed his predecessor Simone Inzaghi despite the Nerazzurri’s recent woes.
According to Tuttosport via FCInterNews, Inter’s slump has done little to derail Inter’s pursuit of their 21st Scudetto.
Cristian Chivu is one step away from winning the Serie A title in his first season in charge of the 20-time Italian champions.
Indeed, Inter boast a six-point lead over runners-up AC Milan, with only eight games left to play.
However, the 45-year-old coach must stem the bleeding, having overseen three consecutive league matches without a win.
Nevertheless, the San Siro giants are on course to win the crown.

Chivu has exceeded expectations in his first season at San Siro, defying his lack of experience in senior management.
That’s two more than the Nerazzurri had at this stage of last season and nine more than in the 2021/22 campaign.
Furthermore, Inter’s three-game winless league run shouldn’t bother fans. They also dropped points twice in three league matches last February.
However, with Lautaro Martinez set to return, Chivu has every reason for optimism.
