Stéphane Bahoken has resumed his career in Kazakhstan’s top flight, joining Qyzyljar Petropavlovsk a year after rupturing his left Achilles tendon.
According to L'Équipe, the 33-year-old Cameroonian forward has signed a deal until the end of December 2026.
He sustained the injury on 13 April 2025 in a Türkiye league game for Kayserispor against Kasimpasa that finished 1-0, after landing awkwardly from an aerial duel.
He made his debut for Qyzyljar on Sunday, coming on in the 84th minute during a 1-0 win over FK Atyrau.
Bahoken, who came through Nice and later played for Strasbourg and Angers, had been without a club since last summer when his Kayserispor contract expired.
