STJD sets hearing for Abel Ferreira after two red cards | OneFootball

STJD has set a hearing for Palmeiras head coach Abel Ferreira on nine April at 11:00 Brasília time, following his dismissals against Fluminense and São Paulo in the Brasileirão.

According to Nosso Palestra, Ferreira was cited in both cases under Article 258 of the disciplinary code, covering conduct contrary to sporting discipline or ethics. The article carries a suspension of one to six matches for coaches, or 15 to 180 days for other personnel.

In round four against Fluminense, he was sent off for addressing the match officials in a confrontational manner.

In the round eight clássico with São Paulo at Morumbis, he was dismissed for speaking to referee Anderson Daronco in an aggressive manner.

Ferreira has three red cards in 2026, with two of those referred to the STJD. He has also received six yellow cards this season.
