Stoke hold interest in West Brom goalkeeper Josh Griffiths, with other Midlands moves also in play.

The Sentinel reports that Stoke have a genuine interest as they seek cover and competition for Viktor Johansson, particularly if Tommy Simkin departs on another loan.

Griffiths began last season as Albion’s first choice, but his minutes dwindled after Max O’Leary joined on a short-term deal from Bristol City in January.

Sky Italia reports Juventus have agreed personal terms with Emiliano Martinez and are edging closer to a deal for the 33-year-old Argentina goalkeeper. Nico Schira adds a contract to 2029 worth €5.5 million net per season, with reports putting his Villa salary near €7 million net. Tuttosport says terms with the player are settled, while La Gazzetta dello Sport notes Villa would consider offers around €15 million this window.

The Athletic reports Arsenal are set to appoint former Aston Villa head of medical services Arnaldo Abrantes as first-team doctor, with a deal agreed after his season-end exit. The 39-year-old previously held a similar post at Nottingham Forest and is a former sprinter who won Portuguese 100m and 200m titles, competing at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.

Wolves confirmed the free return of Raul Jimenez just after 11pm UK time. The forward has signed a two-year deal, with an option of an additional 12 months, after leaving Fulham at the end of his contract.
