Strasbourg predicted XI v Lille: Joaquín Panichelli starts, Emanuel Emegha remains on bench | OneFootball

RC Strasbourg Alsace dropped points unexpectedly against a previously out-of-form Stade Rennais. On paper, they look to have a tougher encounter this afternoon when they host European rivals Lille OSC, whom they can leapfrog in the table with a victory. 

Ligue 1 top scorer Joaquín Panichelli was left on the bench for Strasbourg’s midweek 2-1 victory over BK Häcken in Sweden. However, Ligue 1’s top scorer will likely be back in action against Lille, where he keeps Emanuel Emegha, returning from injury, out of the starting line-up. 

Valentín Barco was similarly rested, but should line up in his new position in midfield alongside Abdoul Ouattara. In defence, Mamadou Sarr was also left out of Liam Rosenior’s plans in Europe, but will be back in his place in the back three and should line up with the captain’s armband.
