Strasbourg to sign highly-rated prosepct Mohamed Zongo | OneFootball

BlueCo are continuing their strategy of picking up the brightest prospects from around the world and are set to sign Mohamed Zongo (16), according to a report from L’Équipe. 

At Chelsea, as well as at RC Strasbourg Alsace, there is a youth-centric strategy. Zongo is expected to be signed for the latter, although, as is the case with all players signed for Les Alsaciens, there is the hope that he can make the step to Stamford Bridge in the future. 

Zongo currently plays for SC Cascades. He is an attacking midfielder who has been courted by many top clubs across Europe, however, it is Strasbourg who have now seemingly won the race. However, he will not immediately join Liam Rosenior’s side. 

The player has already announced his upcoming move to BlueCo, but he will not join Strasbourg until he turns 18. It means that we will have to wait until January 2028 in order to see him in an RCSA shirt.
