Strasbourg tracking English defender Michael Parker | OneFootball

L'Équipe reports that Strasbourg are tracking 21-year-old English defender Michael Parker, who plays for Swedish club Örgryte.

Strasbourg remain without a head coach after Gary O'Neil's sudden move to Ipswich, and are expected to appoint a replacement in the coming days.

Behind the scenes the recruitment team is active, with the arrivals of Diogo Sousa, Milosz Pietukowski and Benjamin Brantlind finalised.

Parker joined Örgryte in February and is under contract until December 2028. The 1.93 m defender has played 13 matches, including 11 starts, in all competitions.

He previously spent time with West Bromwich Albion, Burnley and Huddersfield, and he is also being courted by Udinese and Anderlecht.
