Stuttgart, Leverkusen and Frankfurt ‘keen on’ Lorient wing-back Kouassi | OneFootball

According to FußballTransfers.com, VfB Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in Lorient wing-back Arsène Kouassi.

The Burkina Faso defender almost joined RC Lens last summer, but the move fell through and he instead signed for Lorient.

Lorient paid €1.2 million and he has produced two goals and five assists in 26 Ligue 1 matches.

Interest has also emerged from AS Roma, Genoa and Racing Strasbourg.

Asked about a potential move at the end of the 2025-26 campaign, Kouassi’s advisor, Ahmed Touba, said: “Once the season is over, we will examine all options. Should an ambitious project arise where all parties benefit, it is worth serious consideration.”

“It’s only natural that when you perform well, you strive for more. But we will calmly assess the situation at the end of the season, in full agreement with the club’s management.”
