Stuttgart, Leverkusen and Frankfurt pursuing Lorient wing-back Kouassi | OneFootball

Based on reports from FußballTransfers.com, VfB Stuttgart, Bayer Leverkusen and Eintracht Frankfurt, are keen on Arsène Kouassi.

The wing-back was close to joining RC Lens last summer, but the deal fell through and led him towards signing for Lorient in the end.

Costing just €1.2million, it's safe to say the signing has been an instant success with 2 goals and 5 assists in 26 Ligue 1 games. 

However, the Bundesliga clubs are not alone in their pursuit, with AS Roma, Genoa and Racing Strasbourg having also expressed interest.

When asked about a potential transfer at the end of the 2025-26 campaign Kouassi's advisor, Ahmed Touba, exclaimed: 

"Once the season is over, we will examine all options. Should an ambitious project arise where all parties benefit, it is worth serious consideration.

"It's only natural that when you perform well, you strive for more. But we will calmly assess the situation at the end of the season, in full agreement with the club's management."
