Suárez and Berterame named in MLS Team of the Matchday after 6-4 Inter Miami win | OneFootball

According to Inter Miami, Luis Suárez and Germán Berterame have been named in the MLS Team of the Matchday for matchday 15 of the 2026 regular season. The pair starred in a 6-4 home win over Philadelphia Union on Sunday.

Berterame scored Inter Miami’s first of the night in the 13th minute, making it 1-2 with a finish from inside the box after a pass from captain Leo Messi.

Suárez cut the deficit to 2-3 with a fine volley from inside the area in the 29th minute. Berterame then levelled at 3-3 in the 42nd, again supplied by Messi.

Suárez put Inter Miami ahead 4-3 in the 44th with a close-range strike. He completed his hat-trick in the 81st, restoring the lead at 5-4 from Berterame’s pass.

It is Suárez’s first Team of the Matchday selection this season, and his treble also stretched the winning run to four. He now has six goals and five assists from 11 appearances in this 2026 regular season. Berterame’s first selection follows his first Inter Miami brace and an assist, taking him to seven goals and four assists in 15 outings since joining at the start of the season.
