Olympique Lyonnais have received an attacking boost, with Pavel Sulc, Afonso Moreira and Malick Fofana back in the squad to face Celta Vigo on Thursday at 18:45, the club’s 302nd European match.

Per Le Progres, Paulo Fonseca allowed himself a smile as he discussed the trio’s return, saying the team would have more attacking options and that the comebacks were very positive.

Ernest Nuamah took part in Wednesday morning’s warm-up with team-mates but will not be involved against the Spanish side, with Fonseca stating he is not yet ready to play.

Ruben Kluivert and Ainsley Maitland-Niles are training away from the main group as they work back towards full fitness.

Lyon are playing down talk of a week of all dangers, with Monaco due in Décines on Sunday after this Europa League round of 16 tie, the club’s 23rd at this stage. Fonseca said they understand the importance of the matches, that motivation is high and that the players are ready, despite a run of six games without a win.
