Aston Villa v Brentford Tip - Bogarde in the book

Aston Villa v Brentford Sunday, 14:00Live on Sky Sports Premier League

The Bees were buzzing until gravity took hold this past fortnight, Keith Andrews' men enduring back-to-back losses. Three big chances apiece though created in those defeats suggests they maintain an attacking threat.

These sides have met seven times at Villa Park in the modern era. Five have been drawn.

Bogarde in the book

Morgan Rogers was fancied for shots last time out, the Villa midfielder falling short by one, but it's safer ground to back him at Villa Park. The 23-year-old has taken on five attempts per 90 across his last three home outings.

It is Lamare Bogarde's propensity to pick up cautions, however, that most grabs the attention, the Dutchman tipped to start on Sunday with injuries rife in Villa's engine room. Booked five times since December 21st - despite several of his outings being late cameos - it equates to a yellow card every 58 minutes.

Man United v Fulham Tip - Shot machine Sesko the play

Man United v Fulham Sunday, 14:00Live on Sky Sports Main Event

Rejuvenated under Michael Carrick the hosts will unusually be full of confidence going into this, though Patrick Dorgu is a miss. The Dane has been a stand-out performer of late.

Fulham too are in fine fettle, their climb up the league in recent weeks built on late goals. In five of their last six they have scored crucial goals beyond the 80th minute.

Sesko worth a shot

Even in their darkest moments under Ruben Amorim, United were still a team to be reckoned with in the shots market. No side have registered more SOT in 2025/26, averaging 5.6 per 90.

Naturally, this leads us to Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, boasting exactly 50 SOT between them in the Premier League this term, but a recent four-game sequence from Benjamin Sesko cannot be ignored.

Against Brighton, Burnley, Leeds and Wolves - all post-Christmas - the towering forward racked up 14 shots on target, exactly half of them incidentally from his head. An additional effort struck the post.

Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace Tip - MGW can net

Nottingham Forest v Crystal Palace Sunday, 14:00Live on Sky Sports +

It's now eight winless games and counting for Palace and minus the suspended Adam Wharton they are up against it here.

Forest's results have improved of late which is odd because their shot-count has dwindled: 26 undertaken across a three-game unbeaten sequence compared to 38 in three prior defeats. Clinical finishing has proven key.

Back streaky Morgan

Which brings us to Morgan Gibbs-White who has bagged twice and assisted once in 2026 which is noteworthy because the England international does tend to be streaky when it comes to goal involvements.

There was three in three scored back in November. At the tail-end of last season, he converted twice and assisted inside a week.Elsewhere, for stretches at a time, it's purely endeavour with little end product.

When Gibbs-White is hot, back him. When he's not, look elsewhere. And right now it's very much the case of the former.

Tottenham v Manchester City - Attacking talents to shine

Tottenham v Manchester CitySunday, 16:30Live on Sky Sports Main Event

Excellent in Europe, Spurs' league performances continue to flat-line, conceding 2+ goals in their last three outings. This though is an opponent they typically turn up for, losing only four of their last 12 league meetings with City.A hamstring problem for Pedro Porro weakens the hosts, while adding to an already long injury list. City too have key absences, not least Jeremy Doku. Phil Foden meanwhile is hopelessly out of sorts.

Schemers tipped to show up

With Erling Haaland converting just one in six - a drought by his standards - and Dominic Solanke having never scored past City in ten attempts, perhaps it makes sense to look beyond the forwards to the midfield schemers on display in North London. Step forward Xavi Simons and Ryan Cherki.

Increasingly instrumental to Pep Guardiola's mandate, the latter's 2.9 shots per 90 ratio for City is only bettered by Haaland. Indeed, he has committed to a shot every 32 minutes post-Christmas away from the Etihad.

Simons can top that, or at least he can on home soil. Since the start of December, the Dutchman has registered an attempt on goal every 26 minutes.

Sunday Bet Builder

Backing Bogarde to fall foul of the ref, Sesko to trouble Leno early doors, and Gibbs-White to convert at the City Ground offers up a very tempting 25/1!
