Sunderland and Everton are among the clubs tracking Osasuna centre-back Enzo Boyomo, who is rated at around £25m, ahead of the summer window.

According to Sunderland Echo, several Premier League sides are monitoring the Cameroon international after an impressive display against Barcelona, with Brighton also interested and Serie A side Como keeping tabs.

Boyomo, 24, built his reputation in Spain with Albacete and Real Valladolid, helping the latter win promotion to La Liga before joining Osasuna in 2024 on a five-year deal.

Born in Toulouse, he spent time in Blackburn Rovers’ academy before moving to Spain. He has since become a regular in La Liga and has broken into the Cameroon national team.

The report highlighted his 100 per cent success in defensive duels against Barcelona, which has added to growing interest from England.

Régis Le Bris’ side are expected to strengthen again this summer as they look to build on their first season back in the Premier League. Centre-back could be an area monitored, with Sunderland continuing to prioritise athletic profiles, scope for development and experience in major European leagues with potential resale value.
