Sunderland and Hull City have been warned that Charleroi midfielder Yacine Titraoui’s price could surge during the World Cup, with both clubs credited with interest, according to Maghreb Foot. Premier League newcomers Hull City are named alongside Sunderland in the report.
Sunderland are finalising summer plans to strengthen Regis Le Bris’ squad after the former Lorient boss led the club into European competition for only the second time in their history. Titraoui impressed in Belgium last season.
The report said both clubs are very interested, and that the midfielder is focused on Algeria’s campaign, which features meetings with Jordan, Austria and holders Argentina over the next three weeks.
It added that he told them his dream was to play in the Premier League and that he does not want to play in any other league.
The report said Charleroi will not comment on his future before the tournament, and a strong display could significantly increase his valuation as the club looks to secure the best possible price.
