Sunderland have confirmed their full 2026-27 pre-season schedule ahead of the Premier League campaign, featuring a three-match USA tour and a Stadium of Light friendly against Stade Rennais, the club said. Régis Le Bris' side will use the programme to finalise preparations.

They start at York City on Saturday, July 18 at the LNER Community Stadium, kick-off 3pm BST. The squad then spend a week in Nashville, Tennessee, ending with a friendly against Liverpool at Geodis Park on Saturday, July 25, 5pm CDT.

Next come Leeds United at the Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey on Thursday, July 30, 7.30pm EDT. The stateside tour concludes against Wrexham at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 2, 12pm EDT.

After returning to Wearside, Sunderland travel to France for a double-header with RC Lens on Saturday, August 8. A Sunderland XI meet a Lens XI behind closed doors at the Ligue 1 club's training ground at 11am BST, before a different XI play later at Stade Bollaert-Delelis at 4pm BST.

Their final warm-up, and only home game, is against Stade Rennais at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, August 15, 3pm BST. Further ticketing and streaming details will be communicated in due course, with the friendly falling one week before the 2026-27 Premier League season begins.
