Sunderland confirm full 2026-27 pre-season schedule including USA tour and Stadium of Light friendly | OneFootball

Sunderland have confirmed their full pre-season programme for the 2026-27 Premier League campaign, adding York City, RC Lens and Stade Rennais to a three-match United States tour. The club said further ticketing and streaming details will follow.

The schedule opens at York City on Saturday, July 18 at the LNER Community Stadium, 3pm BST. Régis Le Bris' squad then spend a week in Nashville, Tennessee, concluding with Liverpool at Geodis Park on Saturday, July 25, 5pm CDT.

Next they travel to Harrison, New Jersey, to face Leeds United at the Sports Illustrated Stadium on Thursday, July 30, 7.30pm EDT. The stateside tour ends on Sunday, August 2 against Wrexham at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, 12pm EDT.

After returning to Wearside, they head to France for a double-header with RC Lens on Saturday, August 8. A Sunderland XI meet a Lens XI behind closed doors at the Ligue 1 club's training ground at 11am BST, before a different XI play later at Stade Bollaert-Delelis at 4pm BST.

Pre-season finishes with the only home friendly of the summer, Stade Rennais at the Stadium of Light on Saturday, August 15, 3pm BST. The match falls one week before the new Premier League season.
