Sunderland first half ratings as Enzo Le Fee leads 4-0 at York City | OneFootball

Sunderland opened their 2026/27 campaign with a blistering first half, racing 4-0 ahead at York City as Enzo Le Fee struck twice.

According to Sunderland Echo, Régis Le Bris named one XI for the opening 45 minutes, then a largely academy side for the second period.

Le Fee finished first time to start the scoring and repeated the feat before the break, with Chris Rigg and Timur Tutierov also on target. York moved the ball neatly but were punished by sharper work in the final third.

Goalkeeper Melker Ellborg had little to do, though he made a smart block at the back post before an offside flag went up. Composed with the ball, he earned a solid six.

Right-back Trai Hume impressed in possession, involved in the opener and creator for Rigg’s strike. Tested by a lively opponent but largely in control, a steady seven.

Nordi Mukiele cruised through at centre-back, tidy on the ball and producing two superb sliding tackles, one nearly bringing a Rigg goal and the other leading to Le Fee’s strike. An authoritative eight.

Luke O'Nien made two important interventions when York threatened with crosses and stayed calm in possession. A dependable seven.
