Il Mattino reports that Sunderland are among Premier League clubs tracking Napoli winger Noa Lang ahead of the January window, with Everton also cited and the 26-year-old valued at around £21.6m.

Leeds are thought to have followed Lang since his Club Brugge spell, with Fulham also named among admirers.

Napoli are assessing potential exits this winter. Lang joined Antonio Conte's side from PSV Eindhoven in July 2025 on a deal to 2030 after registering 14 goals and 12 assists across 44 appearances last season.

There is no indication of a firm decision on Lang's future, and no formal bids from Sunderland or other Premier League clubs. Any move would hinge on Napoli's stance and the finances involved.

Separately, Sunderland have confirmed their first signing of the window, winger Jocelin Ta Bi has arrived on a long-term contract and will be integrated gradually. He will not be available to face Crystal Palace at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

The fee is believed to be around £3.5m. The 20-year-old right winger was close to joining Celtic and has spent the past 18 months on loan at Hapoel Petah Tikva, helping promotion and delivering two goals and two assists this season.

He called the move a Premier League dream, and expressed excitement and a commitment to improve with Sunderland.
