Sunderland, Leeds United and Fulham ‘linked with’ £17m move for centre-back Mariano Troilo | OneFootball

Sunderland, Leeds United and Fulham have been linked with Parma centre-back Mariano Troilo. According to ParmaLive, Fulham are said to have offered around £17m, a proposal that was rejected as Parma want more before serious talks.

Leeds and Sunderland are also said to be in the picture, with no fresh offers yet on the table. The club would be prepared to enter talks if an offer exceeds that level.

Troilo joined Parma from Belgrano last summer for around £6.8m, with the 2025-26 campaign his first season outside South America.

After a slow start in Serie A, he grew in stature during the second half and started 17 league games. A standout display came in a 1-0 win at AC Milan, when Fulham’s interest is said to have first emerged.

Parma are in no rush to sell, with Troilo seen as important to Carlos Cuesta’s project. There is a belief his value could rise next season, so clubs may view this summer as the time to move. Parma have a track record of selling at the right price, with several players attracting interest across Europe.
