Sunderland have 13 players out on loan this season. Sunderland Echo notes mixed fortunes across Europe and the EFL.

After one goal in 15 for Sunderland, Simon Adingra has three in seven for AS Monaco, including a brace in a 3-1 win over Nantes.

Anthony Patterson joined Millwall in January and has since started seven with three clean sheets. Millwall have won four, drawn one and lost two to move within two points of automatic promotion.

At Ipswich, Dan Neil has been in and out since January and has helped close to two points behind Boro with a game in hand.

Jenson Seelt was sent off in the DFB-Pokal against Holstein Kiel, then scored an own goal and conceded a penalty in a 4-3 loss to Freiburg. A knee injury has sidelined him since.

Arthur Masuaku has barely featured at Lens, with one Ligue One minute and nine in the Coupe de France. Timothee Pembele has seven Ligue One outings, two starts, and only one win for Le Havre. Leo Hjelde has 51 minutes across five, with 31 in a 1-1 draw at Birmingham.

Alan Browne has been a key utility man for Middlesbrough, covering across the pitch. Ajibola Alese played four minutes for Portsmouth before a thigh injury, while Nazariy Rusyn has four in 19 for Arka Gdynia. Niall Huggins has 16 Wycombe appearances, including a standout 90 in a 4-0 win over Doncaster.

Luis Semedo is starting at Moreirense, scoring two in 16. Zak Johnson is a 90-minute regular at York, one in 19, second.
