Sunderland season-ticket list reset, previous 15,000 must rejoin | OneFootball

Sunderland will open a 2027-28 season-ticket waiting list at 12pm on Thursday 23 July, for Black Cats Adult and Academy Members only. The list will set the order for offers when seats become available.

Sunderland Echo reports that eligible fans can register via their ticketing account, with a step-by-step guide on ASKSAFC.

Each applicant must hold their own Black Cats Adult or Academy Membership, including children and anyone linked through Friends and Family. Non-members cannot access the list.

The previous list closed at the start of July. Around 15,000 supporters were understood to be on it and were emailed about the change. No one will be transferred, so those fans must buy membership and sign up again.

Once added, supporters receive a fixed queue position that moves only when tickets are released and people ahead buy or leave. The club will give one update each season after renewals and seat moves.

Joining does not guarantee a season ticket for 2027-28. Availability depends on renewals and any further seats that open up, with those at the top contacted first.

A place is tied to an active membership, which must be renewed each season to keep it, or risk losing it. Current season-ticket holders do not need to join to keep their seat, but an extra seat for a household or group member requires that person to hold their own membership.
