Sunderland to open new Bridges store with launch event and 2026-27 training wear | OneFootball

Sunderland will open a new official club store at The Bridges at 9am on Friday, June 12, in partnership with Fanatics. Sunderland Echo reports that the city-centre outlet will complement the existing Stadium of Light shop.

A launch event will feature mascots Samson and Delilah, with giveaways and prizes such as hospitality tickets and signed shirts.

The opening marks the club’s return to The Bridges after a long absence. There has been no dedicated city-centre shop since the Debenhams concession closed, though pop-ups have appeared in recent years.

The move comes amid momentum after a seventh-placed Premier League finish secured Europa League football, sealed by a 2-1 win over Chelsea at the Stadium of Light. It will be Sunderland’s first European campaign in more than 50 years, and is expected to bring extra home games and increased footfall.

The Bridges store has been designed with a broader gifting range alongside core kit, while the Stadium of Light outlet remains the flagship. New 2026-27 training wear, produced with Hummel, goes on sale at the launch, with home, away and third kits to follow this summer. The away strip has been teased to carry a special American link, aligning with a pre-season tour of the United States later this summer.
