Sunderland transfer latest on Wilson Isidor, Simon Adingra and Dayann Methalie | OneFootball

Sunderland’s transfer window is gathering pace, with Toulouse confirming negotiations over Dayann Methalie and interest swirling around Simon Adingra and Wilson Isidor.

“There are discussions with Sunderland and interest from other clubs. Today, we are discussing with Sunderland, but there is no agreement between the two clubs. We’ve been discussing with Sunderland for three or four weeks, so Dayann’s starting amount has been fixed for three weeks or a month.” Toulouse president Olivier Cloarec told RMC.

Sunderland’s latest proposal is worth more than £21.4m including add-ons, while Toulouse are holding out for about £25.7m, seeking a package bigger than the Emersonn deal to Ipswich. The 20-year-old left-back is understood to want the move, with the framework of a five-year contract said to be in place.

West Ham are exploring Adingra as they search for a left winger following relegation to the Championship, and loan routes have been considered. Sunderland would prefer a permanent sale and value the Ivory Coast international at around £30m after paying approximately £21m to sign him from Brighton last summer.

Talks around Isidor are also being assessed by West Ham, though no formal offer has been lodged. Sunderland valued the forward at about £25m in January when interest from Everton and others did not progress. He has returned to England from the United States tour for a personal matter, and Régis Le Bris indicated it is not serious with a swift return to training expected.
