Sunderland supporters rushed to buy the new home kit, which pays tribute to the 1937 FA Cup win over Preston North End.

According to Sunderland Echo, the shirt was officially released on Wednesday morning and drew an enthusiastic response.

A striking pre-launch shoot featuring Granit Xhaka, Enzo Le Fee and Emily Scarr whetted supporters’ appetite ahead of the release.

Fans headed to the club stores at the Stadium of Light and The Bridges to pick up the 2026/27 home shirt within moments of the launch.
