Sunderland’s first two home games moved for TV, Fulham and Arsenal dates set | OneFootball

Sunderland’s first two Premier League home fixtures have been rescheduled for live television. According to Sunderland Echo, Fulham’s visit shifts to Sunday and Arsenal’s moves to a Saturday night slot.

The campaign begins away at Ipswich Town at 3pm on Saturday 22 August.

The opening home game against Fulham has been moved back a day to Sunday 30 August, a 2pm kick-off at the Stadium of Light on Sky Sports.

Sunderland then travel to Brentford on Saturday 5 September, with a 3pm start.

Arsenal’s trip to Wearside remains on Saturday 12 September, but will now kick off at 8pm and be shown live on TNT Sports. A week later the Black Cats visit Manchester City, currently slated for a Saturday 3pm start, with Europa League matchday one on 16 or 17 September.

An extended international break follows the City game, before Sunderland return to face Brighton at home on the weekend of 10 October.
