SV Darmstadt ‘set to sign’ South Korean striker Ho-Jae Lee | OneFootball

SV Darmstadt, the 2. Bundesliga side, are finalising a move to sign South Korean striker Ho-Jae Lee from Pohang Steelers, with official confirmation expected in the coming days, according to kicker.

The 25-year-old is currently the leading South Korean scorer in K League 1 with eight goals, with only Brazilian forward Yago Cariello on nine ahead in the division.

Lee finished third in the 2025 scoring chart with 15 goals.

Standing 1.92m, he has 53 goals in 177 appearances for Pohang, and he scored on his full South Korea debut at the East Asian Football Championship last year.

Florian Kohfeldt’s side were in the promotion mix before a dismal end to last season, and they must now rebuild their attack after Fraser Hornby and Isac Lidberg departed.
