Mile Svilar gave an interview to Il Messaggero, La Gazzetta dello Sport, and Corriere dello Sport, in which he discussed this transfer window and next season.

The best goalkeeper of the last two Serie A seasons snubbed Juventus’ offer: “I know nothing about this story, at least not personally. I can’t tell you anything because I wasn’t asked, and for me, as you should know by now, there’s only Roma. I’m focused on giving my best for this shirt, this club, and these fans.”

The Belgian goalkeeper discussed his preparations for next season: “We’re working hard, but our legs are heavy. We still have a month to go before the start of the season, so it all seems very premature. Even against Cannes, we played quite well in the first half of the match, but beyond Wesley’s sending off, we suffered a bit from fatigue and having to make so many changes. What’s certain is that we’re preparing for a great season.”

Svilar on Lorenzo Pellegrini’s return to the team: “I can’t say anything, but it’s clear we’re in touch with Lorenzo. We’ve spoken, and we’ll see what happens in the next few days. He can’t wait to return.”

The Giallorossi goalkeeper spoke about the team’s ambitions: “Well, playing in the Champions League is a great thing. In the league, it will be difficult to maintain third place, especially because with that kind of European commitments, we’ll always have to be at our best. Are there any teams to fear? The Roma goalkeeper praised the defenders who have kept him away: “Well, the fact that Mancini and Ndicka are still here is a sure thing; they’re top. For me, as a goalkeeper, but for the whole team in general. For the past two or three seasons, we’ve conceded few goals as a unit; we know each other, and we’ve become a very solid defense.”
