West Ham United have Swansea striker Zan Vipotnik on their radar as they eye Premier League promotion next season, according to ExWHUEmployee.

The 24-year-old Swansea hitman bagged 23 goals and three assists in 44 Championship games last term, and the Hammers admire his physique.

The ‘machine’ secured the Championship golden boot after an impressive campaign and West Ham are not the only ones keen on his services.

Sporting CP and Benfica also want Vipotnik, while some Premier League clubs could look to lure the Slovenian to the top-flight.

The West Ham target has admitted he would love to play in the Premier League, and the Hammers have to convince him to spend another season in the Championship.

They could do with his services and experience in the division to boost their promotion chances next season.

Nuno is set to lose some key players in the coming weeks, and he has to replace them with quality additions capable of helping the club up.

A squad overhaul could be on the cards at West Ham, and the club are also hoping to recruit a new director of football.

Former Newcastle United’s head of recruitment Steve Nickson is under serious consideration to become the Hammers’ next director of football after his impressive job with the Magpies.

They have not had a recruitment chief since Kyle Macauley left as head of recruitment in October 2025 following the departure of Graham Potter as manager.
