Liverpool faced off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park earlier today as they looked to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. The Reds made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the ninth minute when Ismaila Sarr found the back of the net. Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Federico Chiesa equalised for the Merseyside club in the 87th minute. However, Eddie Nketiah scored a dramatic late winner for the Eagles in injury time as the Reds crashed to a tough 2-1 loss away from home.
He made a string of world-class saves during the game but still conceded twice this afternoon.
RB: Conor Bradley – 6.5/10
Bradley did his fair share of defending and made one good run with the ball. He was replaced at half-time.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 6.5/10
He made a lot of important clearances inside his half but was far from convincing in the first half.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 6.5/10
Van Dijk did his best to deal with the danger but had a tough game this afternoon.

CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 6.5/10
He kept possession well at the centre of the park, but it was not enough today.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 6/10
Salah got himself into some dangerous positions but lacked the cutting edge in the final third.
CAM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 7.5/10
He made a lot of key chances for his teammates to find the back of the net.

Wirtz caused some problems for the Palace defenders but failed to register a goal.

He struggled to get into the rhythm of the game and was substituted in the 83rd minute.
