Tadeo Allende etched his name into Inter Miami folklore, becoming the first player to score nine goals in an MLS play-off campaign as the club lifted MLS Cup. Now his future at Miami is uncertain.

According to TYC Sports, Celta Vigo have set a $10 million price for the 26-year-old and Miami have made an approach, but the clubs remain far apart on valuation. Allende is scheduled to report on 2 January.

Such a fee would put him in the Designated Player bracket, which Miami want to avoid as they seek to use their third slot this winter on a higher-profile recruit.

Players have taken reduced terms to play alongside Lionel Messi, but keeping Allende may come at a higher cost. A move into a new stadium and entering 2026 as defending champions may aid negotiations.

If Allende is intent on staying in Miami, that could give the club leverage to bring down any fee. For now, whether he remains a Heron is unclear as the focus appears to be on sustaining a winning culture.
