Takehiro Tomiyasu completes medical ahead of Crystal Palace move | OneFootball

Takehiro Tomiyasu is close to a return to the Premier League after completing a medical with Crystal Palace.

The 27-year-old defender has been training with the Eagles throughout pre-season after leaving Ajax earlier in the summer after just nine appearances.

Tomiyasu has been an unused substitute for Palace in pre-season so far with the club said to be happy with his ability but waiting on his fitness before deciding on whether or not to sign the defender on a permanent basis.

However, according to reports Tomiyasu has now passed a medical and will be completing the move by the end of the week.

Tomiyasu first moved to England to join Arsenal, featuring 84 times in total for the Gunners.
