Roma have not made progress in their talks for Mile Svilar’s contract renewal.
The capital club have been locked in negotiations to extend Svilar’s contract for the last few weeks.
However, as reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the parties have not reached an agreement and now negotiations have been put on standby.
The requests made by Svilar’s entourage are deemed excessive by Roma who are not willing to match them.
As things stand, Di Marzio reports that Svilar’s agents are asking for 3 million euros plus 1 million in add-ons.
Roma will therefore have to decide whether to move closer to the player’s demands, given that at the moment the figure proposed by the Giallorossi is not even close to the one requested.
Discussions are planned in the next few days, with the hope that an agreement can be found as soon as possible.
