Talks with Bayern are on the horizon! Tottenham hopes for Kane’s return | OneFootball

FC Bayern is very satisfied with Harry Kane, and Harry Kane is very satisfied at FC Bayern. Nothing has changed in that regard over the past weeks and months. Nevertheless, at this point, there is nothing more than a tendency toward a contract extension. 

Kane’s side is definitely open to a new contract, and Bayern plans to pick up the pace of negotiations with the player after the World Cup. So far, so clear.

And even though all parties are confident that an agreement will ultimately be reached, a small lingering doubt remains as long as no contract has been signed.

FC Barcelona is saidto have recently inquired about Kane, but the player himself shut the door on that possibility. His priority is first the World Cup, then FC Bayern.

Tottenham is monitoring the Kane situation

Even though all signs continue to point clearly toward a contract extension—and talks could begin immediately after the World Cup and his vacation—there are still teams keeping an eye on the situation surrounding the striker.

According to TEAMtalk, Tottenham is among them. The Spurs have long benefited from Kane and his talents and are currently in the process of completely overhauling their roster.

If there is even the slightest chance of signing him, Tottenham is said to be among the teams looking to get involved.

However, sources close to the record champions continue to emphasize that it’s only a matter of time before Kane signs a new contract. This confidence hasn’t stopped the other clubs from continuing to monitor developments, though.

Bayern’s management has the task of outlining to Kane during negotiations what the sporting plan is for the coming years. Everyone in Munich already knows that they’ll have to push their financial limits. For Kane, this is likely to be the last major contract of his career.
