Leeds United Women return to FA WNL Division One North action this afternoon, looking to secure local bragging rights as they make the short trip to face Huddersfield Town Women.

Last time out, the Whites secured a spot in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup first round proper as goalkeeping heroics from Carrie Simpson ensured a penalty shootout victory against Norton & Stockton Ancients.

Simon Wood has made one change to the side that progressed in the FA Cup last weekend, with Alayna Millard taking Ellie White’s spot on the teamsheet.

A week on from her standout performance, Simpson retains her place between the sticks, with a returning Millard ahead of her, alongside captain and former Terrier Shauna Legge, Emily Cassidy and Darcie Greene.

Alice Hughes, Monique Watson and Kath Smith make up the midfield three, which is unchanged from last time out.
