Thomas Frank reports that Cuti Romero, Destiny Udogie and Dominic Solanke are all ‘progressing’ in terms of recovery from injury as we head up to Merseyside to meet Everton in the Premier League on Sunday (4.30pm UK).

Skipper Cuti was a late withdrawal from last weekend’s home loss against Villa with an adductor issue. He was replaced by Kevin Danso, who also started in the Champions League draw at AS Monaco on Wednesday evening, Micky van de Ven taking over the armband.

Destiny started our win at Leeds on 4 October, but hasn’t featured since after picking up ‘minor irritation’ on his knee. Dominic, meanwhile, is working his way back to fitness after minor ankle surgery last month.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference at Hotspur Way on Friday afternoon, Thomas was asked about the fitness of the three players. “Cuti has been out on the grass, running with some of the performance guys,” he said. “So, positive, progressing, no time frame, but I don't expect it to be a longer one.

“Destiny is not on the grass yet, but still progressing, so again, not a longer one. Dominic, positive, he's taking steps in the right direction every day, was on the grass again today, on his own, but has now a sustainable amount of pitch sessions in him on his own, so he's progressing forward.”

Yves Bissouma, Ben Davies, Radu Dragusin, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison and Kota Takai remain sidelined.
