Téfécé’s Carles Martinez Novell suspended for OL visit, Mario Sauer also banned | OneFootball

Toulouse will be without head coach Carles Martinez Novell for OL’s visit to the Stadium on Sunday at 21:00, on Ligue 1 matchday 33.

According to Le Progres, he is serving a suspension for an accumulation of yellow cards, the latest collected in the Coupe de France semi-final defeat to Lens, and will watch from the stands.

The game appears to carry little at stake for Téfécé, yet the Spaniard would likely have preferred a different scenario for his final home match as TFC coach, as he will not extend his spell. Assistant Pol Garcia will take charge and can call on a near full squad.

Midfielder Mario Sauer is also suspended for multiple bookings and is expected to be the only absentee for Toulouse.

Forward Yann Gboho, who missed last week’s win at Strasbourg, should return to face OL. He has eight league goals this season.
